Synthetic turf lives or dies on the base. We excavate, lay and compact crushed rock, screed it dead flat, then roll the turf out and let it settle before it is cut in. Seams are joined and glued on tape, not stapled over the top, so they do not lift.
It suits shaded side yards where real grass never takes, pool surrounds, courtyards, rooftop and balcony areas, and anywhere a dog has flogged the lawn to dirt.
We use premium UV stable yarn with a mixed blade height and thatch, so it reads as lawn rather than plastic. Pet friendly with a free-draining backing.

Does synthetic grass get hot in summer?
In full afternoon sun it warms up more than real lawn. A quick hose down cools it straight off, and lighter coloured yarn helps if the area is fully exposed.
Is it good with dogs?
Yes. The backing is free draining, urine washes straight through, and it does not turn into a mud patch or wear bare along the fence line.
How long does synthetic turf last?
Around fifteen to twenty years on a good quality product with a proper base. The base is what usually shortens it, not the yarn.
