Pool Surrounds and Coping in Ballarat.

The bit everyone stands on and looks at. Coping and paving around the pool done with clean mitres and grout lines that stay tight.

Pool Surrounds & Coping in Ballarat

A pool surround is the most scrutinised paving on any block. People walk it barefoot, they sit on the edge, and every mitre cut is at eye level from the water. We treat it that way.

Drop-face, full bullnose or square edge, in travertine, bluestone, granite or silver ash marble. Corners get mitred, not butted. Skimmer and equipment lids are cut in flush so you barely notice them. Grout is a flexible pool-grade product, and the whole surround is set with a fall away from the pool so splash-out drains instead of pooling.

We work alongside your pool builder and can come in straight after the shell and beam are done.

Questions

The things people ask us.

What coping stone works best in Ballarat?

Travertine stays cool underfoot and handles frost well when it is sealed. Silver ash marble and bluestone give a sharper modern look. All three work here, it comes down to the look you are after and the colour of the house.

Can you do the paving while the pool is being built?

We come in once the shell, beam and plumbing are done and signed off. Getting in earlier just means machinery over fresh work.

Do you seal the coping?

Yes on natural stone. It keeps the sunscreen, leaf stain and chlorine splash out of the pores and makes the surround much easier to clean.
