A new lawn is a big spend, and hand watering is what kills most of them. An automatic system takes that off your plate and waters early in the morning when it actually soaks in instead of evaporating.
We measure the flow and pressure at the tap first, then size and zone the system to suit. Trenches are cut, poly and risers laid, heads set flush to finished lawn level so the mower goes straight over the top. Every zone gets pressure tested and the arcs adjusted so you are not watering the footpath.
Controllers are Hunter or Rain Bird, with a rain sensor option and drip line run through garden beds off its own zone.

How much does an irrigation system cost?
It depends on the number of zones, which comes down to the size of the yard and the water pressure at the tap. A standard suburban back lawn is usually two to three zones. We price it per zone so it is easy to follow.
Can you install irrigation into an existing lawn?
Yes. We cut narrow trenches and lift the turf in strips, then lay it back. Once it knits back in you cannot pick where we have been.
Will it work with Ballarat water restrictions?
An automatic system uses less water than a hose because it applies the right amount at the right time of day. Controllers can be set to whatever watering days apply.
